Stat growth

How species values, level and Potential contribute to the six main stats.

HP, ATK, defense, REGEN and BREAK each scale from starting points and level. This chapter shows what they share and where their scaling differs. Species points are the starting species value supplied to the calculation; individual points are the separate per-Aniimo input. The equations below stop before later bonuses and displayed-stat processing. In particular, they do not include the separate 4% bonus for every complete four Potential points. See Capability Awakening for that conversion and its combined-point basis.

Inputs and shared level term

species is the configured species-point value for the stat. individual is the combined per-Aniimo point input, including learned points and extra additions; it must not be replaced with Innate Potential alone. level is the supplied level. The game distinguishes Innate and Acquired Potential; the growth calculation reads the combined stored value at this stage.

The standard stat calculation rounds down by default. The individual expressions also accept a rounding function. When no callable rounding function is supplied directly, they return their base species/individual term instead of the level-scaled result.

For the HP, ATK and defense branches, the shared level term is:

level_term = 6 × level + 35 + 1.8 × extra_level

The player-owned branch uses offset = min(max(level − 60, 0), 10) and extra_level = offset × (20 + 3 × offset) ÷ 50. The other branch uses zero below level 66; from 66 it uses min(2 × (level − 65), level − 60). The calculation distinguishes player-owned Aniimo from bot/non-player ownership when choosing this branch. These boundaries do not establish a universal level cap.

Starting points

The starting values come first; level scaling is applied in the following branches.

Point additionGROW-01

output = species + individual

The rounding input is unused here. Species 100 and individual 20 return 120.

HP, ATK, P.DEF and M.DEF

HP and ATK each have a growth branch. P.DEF and M.DEF share the defense-growth branch. These branches use the extra-level adjustment described above.

HP growthGROW-02

base = (species + 20) × (1 + 0.008 × individual)
output = rounding(base ÷ 120 × level_term × 20)

The base includes an extra 20 species points. If no rounding function is supplied, output is just base.

ATK growthGROW-03

base = species × (1 + 0.008 × individual)
output = rounding(base ÷ 120 × level_term)

The level term includes the extra-level branch above. The rounding input decides how the final product is rounded.

Defense growthGROW-04

base = species × (1 + 0.008 × individual)
output = rounding(base ÷ 80 × level_term × 0.5)

This branch is used for defense; it does not identify every subsequent defense modifier.

REGEN and BREAK

These branches use the ordinary level term throughout.

REGEN growthGROW-05

base = species × (1 + 0.008 × individual)
output = rounding(base ÷ 90 × (6 × level + 35) × 0.5)

This branch uses the plain level term, without the extra-level branch. REGEN is not automatically HP healing.

BREAK growthGROW-06

base = species × (1 + 0.008 × individual)
output = rounding(base ÷ 100 × (6 × level + 35))

This branch also uses the plain level term.

Worked example

At species 100, individual 20 and level 50, extra level is zero and the level term is 335. If the supplied rounding function is floor:

Branch Unrounded product With floor
HP 7772 7772
ATK 323.833333… 323
Defense 242.875 242
REGEN 215.888888… 215
BREAK 388.6 388

These are arithmetic demonstrations, not complete predicted screen stats.

Upstream species/individual values, the supplied rounding function, bonuses, displayed stats and exact live selection must be checked separately. Positive ordinary inputs are assumed; these definitions do not enforce a complete input domain.
