Home Abilities describe the work an Aniimo can perform. Ability level affects the work calculation; a matching personality can multiply its output by 1.20. The points in the ability tooltip are a separate display value, not a complete prediction of production speed or assignment priority.
Home Abilities
Home Abilities identify the kinds of Homeland work an Aniimo can perform. A facility's current production stage determines which ability it needs; possessing that ability and working quickly are separate questions.
| Home Ability | Work described by its tooltip |
|---|---|
| Fire | Cooking, smelting and supplying heat |
| Grass | Planting seeds and gathering resources |
| Water | Brewing, fetching water and watering plants |
| Earth | Cultivating land and mining resources |
| Lightning | Manipulating electricity |
| Ice | Cooling the Homeland environment |
| Wind | Controlling wind to process products |
| Dark | Harvesting crops, cutting down plants, pickling and drying |
| Light | Illuminating the Homeland |
| Hauling | Carrying stockpiled facility produce to Home storage |
| Artisanship | Creating handcrafted goods |
| Leisure | Producing items through play |
| Perfumery | Working at the perfume station |
These descriptions summarize the ability tooltips. They do not mean every facility with a related theme accepts every listed ability.
Ability level and tooltip points
The Home Ability tooltip displays a shared workload value for each ability level:
| Ability level | Tooltip points |
|---|---|
| 1 | 60 |
| 2 | 75 |
| 3 | 90 |
| 4 | 105 |
For example, Dark Lv.4 displays 105 from this level table. The tooltip reads the same table for each ability; it does not calculate this number from the selected facility, its recipe, personality match or food availability.
Working against a facility requirement
Aptitude level and a matching personality are separate inputs. Neither is an injury roll.
Indexed aptitude differenceWORK-01
output = (worker_lookup[worker_level] − requirement_lookup[required_level])
× (1 + 0.20 × personality_match)
Read the worker value at the Aniimo's aptitude level and the requirement value at the facility's required level. Match 1 gives ×1.20; match 0 gives ×1.00. There is no nonnegative clamp.
| Ability level | Worker value | Requirement value |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 120 | 60 |
| 2 | 150 | 75 |
| 3 | 180 | 90 |
| 4 | 210 | 105 |
The worker and requirement can have different levels. Use the worker column at the Aniimo's level and the requirement column at the operation's recommended level.
When both levels are equal and no personality or food multiplier applies, their difference is 60, 75, 90 or 105. That matches the tooltip table numerically. The tooltip itself still reads only the ability level; it does not check whether the current job actually has that same-level requirement.
Mining example
At a Mine operation recommending Earth Lv.4, the requirement value is 105:
| Worker | No personality match | Matching personality |
|---|---|---|
| Earth Lv.2 | 150 − 105 = 45 | 45 × 1.20 = 54 |
| Earth Lv.4 | 210 − 105 = 105 | 105 × 1.20 = 126 |
These compare the same operation with food available. They are work-output values, not items produced per minute. A matching Earth Lv.4 miner has higher calculated output here, but that does not guarantee it will replace whoever currently occupies the Mine.
When aptitude exceeds the requirement
The second expression uses a direct level gap instead of lookup arrays.
Aptitude-gap rateWORK-02
gap = worker_level − required_level
base = 2 + gap when gap > 0; otherwise 1 + 0.25 × gap
output = 60 × base × (1 + 0.20 × personality_match)
This version does not read those lookup arrays. It uses the aptitude-level gap directly and has a discontinuity when the worker first exceeds the requirement.
Worked examples
For the gap expression, the level difference gives these outputs before a food penalty:
| Level difference | No match | Matching personality |
|---|---|---|
| -2 | 30 | 36 |
| -1 | 45 | 54 |
| 0 | 60 | 72 |
| 1 | 180 | 216 |
| 2 | 240 | 288 |
A gap of −4 gives zero; lower gaps can give negative results because this expression does not clamp them.
The ×60 term does not, by itself, prove a per-minute unit. Actual production also depends on the operation, workload needed for each stage, rounding and output limits. The reviewed helper multiplies work output by 0.20 when the Homeland food check reports no food. These expressions do not establish injury odds or a benefit from furniture beds.
